"Come, come, whoever you are. Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving. It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come."
Polkadot Productions’ ΑΣΥLVM – a holy space within is an artistic research and social action, which focuses on the social stigma of mental illness. It is carried out in collaboration and co- production with the Panhellenic Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Vocational Reintegration (ΠΕΨΑΕΕ), subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports and also placed under its Auspices. Through an abstract music trip ΑΣΥLVM – a holy space within focuses on the adventures of a person that is confined/locked down unwillingly. In addition, the double version action ΑΣΥLVM – a holy space within tries to explore the newly emerged by the pandemic of COVID19 necessities and possibilities, to investigate its social and personal parameters, to “exploit” them. Guide to this effort is the integration of all those diverse and newly developed social, artistic and technical elements and the co-shaping of the final work. It seems that in this conjuncture of today’s social reformation, emerges a unique opportunity to participate in the creation of a new status quo.
